UNSPOKEN WORDS
Dear Mom,
I love you and I will always love you, but I couldn’t take life anymore. You have been begging me to talk you. I have been talking you just never took the time out to listen. I bet you’re paying attention now. All my life you badgered me with your lectures. Physically, religion, education. Always coming up to my school trying to embarrass me, listening to my teachers and never even considered the fact that I might be telling the truth. Seeking to get in my head talking about what’s best for me. How do know? “Nevaeh your dreams are so important. Nevaeh this Neveah that.” Then you were always dragging me to church every Sunday. You were trying to be all holy. You want me to talk to God so bad? Well now we’re going to have a face-to-face conversation. Well mom I'm not going to take up much more of time. I know you are going to be busy unwrapping the rope from around my neck and burying my bones, but just to let you know if you wouldn’t have never put so much force on me all these years, you wouldn’t have killed me and my unborn baby.
Love,
Nevaeh

POG2
Does our Constitution effectively resolve conflict? AS I explained in my P.O.G.1 that government was is needed but should have limitations in order to keep society happy and well-grounded .The ideal society showed me that government is very important when crime or a cruel act is committed unto others. As a Supreme Court judge I witness a lot of problems in the ideal society. Such as court case Miller vs. Young, impeachment of the President, and the law that was passed stating that “you must be 18 years or older to have an ichip.”
In the court case Miller vs. Young, Shay was put in jail for her act of freedom of speech. Shay simply stated, “ If you don’t shut up I would blow up your house” To the President. Because she spoke out nonchalant the president got her arrested .The case between Miller vs. Young was so serious it got taken to the Supreme Court. In the end Shay was not charged because of the fact that she was in act of freedom of speech. (Amendment 1) Some of the powers of the president were decrease.
The second thing I would like to talk about is the impeachment of the president .In the Constitution (article2, section 4) states, The President, Vice President and civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of Treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. I saw the president hitting people and talking about peoples parents and I thought that, that was a wrong thing to do, and the government tried to impeach him but the court case got I n the way of impeachment. The society also failed to impeach the president because they didn’t use the right process and the president was not found guilty on his charges. That’s why the president was not impeached.
During the Ideal society simulation the president had passed a law stating you must be 18 years old to have the ichip and if you were younger it would be illegal. The law itself had a lot of controversy because it was violating the fourth amendment stating the right of security .I thought that , that was wrong because if children was lost they wouldn’t be found because the ichip was not planted in their brain yet.
Now does Constitution effectively resolve conflict? I think yes because The Constitution settled a lot of the problems in the ideal society. And everything I observed in the ideal society had taken part of the Constitution. That’s why I think The Constitution does effectively resolve conflict.
